Oh Darling! with Annelie

Saturday 17 May, 2-4pm at Glentui Meadows, North Canterbury.  Places available. Cost $45

Annelie writes....
In my class I will be using the Crate Paper “Oh Darling” range of products. In this class, you will create 3 layouts. I will teach how to make your LO's look layered and dimensional, using only a few beautiful products.

Layout 1 uses a 4x4” photo. The colour palette is quite girly with pinks, teals and yellows.

Layout 2 uses a 6x4” photo in portrait orientation. The colour palette is pink!

Layout 3 uses 2 x 3x4" photos in portrait orientation. I have used a sepia photo, but you can use a colour photo if you like. The colour palette is in blue/teal, green & yellow.

Please bring a basic kit, including glue dots, glue, paper trimmer, scissors, ruler, black journaling pen, pop dots or foam tape. I will provide a variety of mists to use in the class, but you are most welcome to bring your own.

Project Life with Belinda & Hayley

HI Girls,
Project Life is a great creative outlet for being as simple or as complex as you please. In our class we will show you more ways to jazz up your pocket projects with journaling ideas, use of not only kits but also current paper collections, and a few new tricks to try.....think good old cover seal.. oooh!
We have worked together to bring you a class that not only appeals to the girls you scrap, but also to the boys. You will leave the class with a full double spread and one smaller spread too. It will be a lot of fun, see you there!
WHAT TO BRING – tool kit (scissors, paper trimmer etc), adhesive/glue, foam dots, and twelve or more 3x3 photos in a mixture of portrait and landscape orientation. You can also bring some 6x4 photos, if you prefer, but we have designed the class using the smaller size.

Book by emailing Adrienne adriennebraam@slingshot.co.nz and depositing $39 into ASB 12 3147 0209179 51.

What's my style?

Maybe you've seen the sneak peeks for my class, but you aren't sure if you want to sign up. Perhaps I can help you decide by posting a few of my layouts. This will give you a sense of my usual style, and the way I like to scrap. I have 2 boys, so many of my pages will suit boy photos (but not exclusively).

I have actually given you pretty good descriptions of the colour palettes and the photo numbers/sizes for my class, as well as the sneak peeks, so keep that information in mind as well ...

I do have a blog (http://blairsboys.wordpress.com). However, I haven't posted any scrapbooking layouts on there lately, so Adrienne asked me to share some photos here. You can always search under the "Scrapbooking" and "Design Team" categories on my blog to find previous scrapbooking-related posts, if you need to.

Hope this helps anyone who may be "sitting on the fence". I'd love to have you in my class! I think there are still a couple of spaces left ... so be in quick!

Hannah's class ... details & sneak peeks!

My class - which is on Friday morning from 9.30-11.30am - features the Studio Calico “Printshop” range of products. In this class, you will create 3 layouts using Printshop papers, Thickers, wood veneers, Kraft tags and sequins. We will also look at a few different & interesting ways to use mists.

Layout 1 uses a 5x7” photo in landscape orientation. I have used a sepia photo for mine; the colour palette is Kraft, blue/green, white & grey.

Layout 2 is a multiphoto layout using one 6x4” photo and two 3x2” photos, all in portrait orientation. The colour palette is yellow & green, with a white background.

Layout 3 is a mostly black, white & grey layout with bursts of red and yellow. It uses a 6x4" photo in portrait orientation. I have used a B&W photo, but you can use a colour photo if you like.

Please bring a basic kit, including adhesive/s, paper trimmer, scissors, ruler, black & white journaling pens, pop dots or foam tape. I will provide a variety of mists to use in the class, but you are most welcome to bring your own.

I look forward to seeing you in my class!
